The Cleveland Clinic/RGF Cycling Team presented by Felt Bicycles is an Ohio-based, nationally recognized cycling program that recruits and provides young athletes the opportunity to compete at the highest level in the sport of competitive cycling in the United States.
The 2010 team headed into its fourth season with some new young riders and a new look. After an impressive 2009 season that saw the team capture 33 wins and 97 total podium appearances, it's poised to continue growing in 2010.
Former professional racer Jeff Braumberger took over as team director this year, and a host of new riders joined the team. Among them are current U.S. National Team U-23 rider Adam "Leibo" Leibovitz, winner of the 2009 Winona Lake Criterium and Winona to Wooster Road Race and 2009 USA Cycling Collegiate Track National Champion; Christopher "Cruise" Bogedin, the 2009 Cone Azalia Classic Road Race Champion; Cory St. Clair, winner of the 2009 Cat. 3 Joe Martin Stage Race; Alan Antonuk; Ryan Good; Nathan Larson, 2009 Tour de Bemus runner-up; Stephen Scott; and John "Rolf"Eisinger, the 2009 Norton Commons Classic winner and 2005 Collegiate National Champion.
Team veterans include Jeremy Grimm, winner of the 2009 Troy Classic on the Square; Dave Chernosky; Bob Martin, 2009 Marion Classic Masters Champion; Dick Brink; Brett Sudetic; Cameron Jackson, the 2009 Cat. 3 Ohio State Road Champion; Stefan Kadar, a fomer Romanian Junior National Champion; and Joe Lombardo.
Team management includes Polo Fernandez, CEO of RGF Sports; Team Director Jeff Braumberger; Dick Brink; and Dave Chernosky. Jerememy Grimm is the Elite Team Manager, and Bob Martin is the U-23 Team Manager.
The team will compete in major U.S. events including the Tour of Ohio, Super Week, USA Cycling National Championships and other National Racing Calendar and major Midwest events.
